Welcome to the fountain of inspiration...

...well, for me at least. This is the place where my creativity bubbles up and overflows, where I allow it to run to places that many fanfic writers keep tightly dammed.

Okay, enough with the water metaphors. What I mean by all that is this is where I keep track of all my original characters, as well as a few who are more strictly speaking original twists on established characters.

The specifics of that inspiration can vary from things like "What if Tony DiNozzo or Martin Fitzgerald were born a woman?" to "What if Cassandra died before 'Archangel'--would Richie still be alive?" to "What if King Arthur were Immortal and a sentinel, and still alive today?" but the one thing they all have in common is that every single character on this page started with a "what if." Likely one that many writers wouldn't have bothered to pursue.

So take a look around. Introduce yourself to some of the men and women who inhabit these pages and then, if you feel inclined, venture on over to Probable Impossibilities and read their stories. Some of them you'll probably like, some you might hate, but I bet there's at least one "what if" in here that'll capture your imagination.
